It's not uncommon for me to select a stone first and then build an athame around it. This rose quartz jumped out at me, and I knew I wanted to do something sleek and pretty but still with my rugged Germanic flare. This athame features a wrapped leather handle and a chunk of rose quartz secured in copper on the pummel.
 
Rose Quartz is commonly associated with love, self-love, friendship and peace.
