Service Description

If you're interested in learning or just experiencing the art of blacksmithing, our workshops are the perfect place to start. We offer two types of workshops - introductory technique and project-based. In the introductory technique workshops, we'll explore and experiment with the fundamentals of blacksmithing. Together, we'll look at drawing out, upsetting, twisting, splitting and punching. In the project-based workshops, you'll work on a specific project from start to finish. You'll learn all the necessary skills and techniques to complete the project successfully and leave with a finished product that you can be proud of. I've designed the project-based workshops for anyone of any skill level. I wanted to create shorter, more affordable workshops that were student-led. These workshops are ideal for people who want a memorable experience trying their hand at blacksmithing but aren't necessarily looking to pursue smithing as a career or even a hobby. Be a blacksmith for an afternoon and get it out of your system. If you feel like you need more after that, I'm more than happy to talk. Depending on the build, these workshops are typically 1.5 to 3 hours. Some project-based workshops we've done in the past have been: Cutlery and BBQ Tools Forge Tools Fireplace Tools Wands, Athame and Other Ritual Tools Mild and Tool Steel Knives Belt Rings Hooks, S-Hooks, Drive Hooks, etc.
